HiHearts, a dynamic new group based in the US, have shared their debut release, 'SWIM.’ The track showcases the trio’s ability to blend Delta Slide Blues, Roots Rock, and whimsical Americana Folk-Rock.
With fresh melodies and a mystical sound, “SWIM’ features lyrics that resonate on a spiritual level, speaking about the sacredness of being alone in nature and finding the deeper meaning in yourself.
Consisting of Heidi Holton, Bridget Gossett, and Rene Russell, HiHearts was formed after the three met at a Nashville-style songwriter's round in the Appalachian mountains last year. Despite their different musical backgrounds, they found a shared passion for using their musical abilities to tell stories.
Holton brings her Delta Slide Blues expertise, infusing the songs with haunting melodies and soulful vocals, while Gossett contributes her silky, smoky alto soul and roots rock style. Meanwhile, Rene Russell's bourbon-flavored vocals and Americana Folk-Rock with Bluegrass and Reggae undertones provide a unique twist.
HiHearts is already prepared to release their second single "Hocus Focus” later this summer as it will continue to showcase the group’s unique fusion of musical styles.
