Sophia Stephans, a singer-songwriter from Indiana, released her latest single, "Fervor.” The track serves as a cautionary tale, urging listeners to tread carefully when approaching love or passion with overwhelming fervor.
"Fervor," shares Stephans’ creative vision as her haunting lyrics and emotive vocals draw listeners into a world of introspection and contemplation. Inspired by the word itself, Stephans embarked on a journey to encapsulate its meaning in a dark, yet enlightening, manner.
Originally composed with nothing but her guitar and raw vocals, Stephans teamed up with producer Trey Vittetoe to elevate "Fervor" into a fully realized production. Building upon the foundation of the original guitar chords and melody, the two crafted a track that delivers a powerful message about the perils of intense devotion.
At just 17 years old, Stephens has already written over 300 songs and three albums that have yet to be released. In 2023, she released her debut EP and is expecting to release Hhr debut album next year. In the meantime, she is performing at gigs around Carmel, IN, while working towards reaching audiences across Indiana and beyond.
