SAER - NYC

Emerging from Birmingham, SAER is one of the most impressive vocalists we have heard recently. Not a surprise, given his past endeavours on The Voice UK and the plethora of BBC Radio attention he was able to evoke. Known as Simon Davies by day, the talented producer and songwriter champions a rather theatrical, dramatic artistry, infusing his musical output with intense lyricism and eclectic arrangements.

‘NYC’ is the perfect evidence of that. The project’s latest effort, the record serves as a pompous and majestic celebration of the American city’s electrifying energy, echoing its towering skyline and laborious landscape. SAER builds such a gem on a powerful electro-rock arrangement, perfectly fitting his malleable, evocative and intense vocals.

Crucially, ‘NYC’ comes with a stunning music video, courtesy of director Paul Griffin. Through a unique blend of advanced technology and artistic vision, he was able to visually echo the song's lyrical metaphors through AI-generated imagery.
