Pitching his track as a minimal gem in a sea of “over-produced” records, Ryan Yingst describes his artistic outlook in the best way possible. In a crowded, heavily edited musical landscape, not many are brave enough to showcase their unfiltered self to the masses. The Nashville-based singer and songwriter is one of those heroes, delivering a piece that feels wholesome, authentic and just rather honest. ‘Chaos’ was recorded in one take only, a mellow, soothing yet evocative folk gem that builds on acoustic guitar and engaging fiddles.

The primal energy shared by ‘Chaos’ contrasts quite literally with the title itself: the listeners don’t perceive chaos, instead, they are hit with the charismatic and assertive character of Yingst's vocals, so fuzzy, warm and full of expression.

Explaining the deep lyricism behind the song, Ryan declares: “The song is a love ballad about finding someone who can not only handle the ups and downs of a chaotic life, but add their own seamless chaos to a life in flux. In life, we need someone who will stand by us in our worst moments. This song is a reflection of a true partner. One who has seen the worst days of someone's life and stands by them, helping them cope and grow.”
