Their title of their song “Blue Moon” suggests a sadness that is not felt when listening to the song. Singing about the end of relationships and the coming of change, Rose Haven Motor Hotel is able to approach the topics with an endearing acceptance. Their hometown vibe adds an authenticity to their sound, making you feel like you stumbled into your local bar on a lonely and lost night to enjoy some live music (which is possible reality for local fans). Through the alt-folk genre, they are able to make country music more accessible to all. By taking the best traits of the genre, Rose Haven Motor Hotel is able to push this music sector into the new world.
