Supported by the likes of BBC Introducing Essex,
Retrograde Conversation might be a young project, but it sure has had its mark on the music scene. Perhaps it’s the dreamy, eclectic character of its sonic outlook that’s so appealing to the industry audience. For us, at least, it is. Retrograde Conversation’s latest effort, ‘Still You’, confirms what we already suspected: the project has such a kaleidoscopic imprint to make it irresistible for the keen listener.

‘Still You’ explores indietronica and dream pop territories, combining light guitar work with bright xylophones and flute soundscapes, making for an intense and introspective listening experience. Described as “a blend of Beach House and Fleetwood Mac with Andre Aciman style lyrics”, the track it’s a breath of fresh air in a standardised music landscape.

An EP and a lead single, ‘Still You’ is Retrograde Conversation’s most convincing effort so far. Stay tuned!
