Speaking about the idea behind the record, Odonian Drifts explain its ties with the “reflections on the renascent pop-cultural interest in philosophical pessimism over the past decade, exemplified by season 1 of ‘True Detective’ and the alarmism of U.S. right-wing commentator Glenn Beck — who declared a liberal plot to spread ideas of nihilism and progressive eugenics among the masses.”
It is on such heavy themes that Odonian Drifts builds his own nuanced and complex lyricism, something that perhaps won’t be for everyone, but that is bound to characterize the project as a white wolf, a bright and shiny star in a universe of boring and flat artistic propositions.
