Miron - Long Nails

While many artists will feel compelled to adhere to their chosen genre, afraid of stepping outside the boundaries of their comfort zone, French talent Miron doesn’t exactly care, making the switch from guitar-powered artistry to electronic euphoria. ‘Long Nails’ is the piece that celebrates it, swapping big riffs for arpeggiated synth and drum machine. There’s an overall sense of nostalgia in the record, with retro influences setting the rules for the entire game.

Miron - Long Nails

On Rotation: Miron Shuffles the Cards with Disco-Flavoured Jewel ‘Long Nails’

While many artists will feel compelled to adhere to their chosen genre, afraid of stepping outside the boundaries of their comfort zone, French talent Miron doesn’t exactly care, making the switch from guitar-powered artistry to electronic euphoria. ‘Long Nails’ is the piece that celebrates it, swapping big riffs for arpeggiated synth and drum machine. There’s an overall sense of nostalgia in the record, with retro influences setting the rules for the entire game.

Justifying the drastic change, Miron explains: "I wanted to explore a different genre and bring in some fresh elements, while still staying true to my sound. The 80s influence in this track represents a time that has always fascinated me. I wanted to bring that feeling back and

share it with my listeners".

Channelling charming and sleazy vocals over a passionate and luscious disco beat, Miron manages to offer his listeners a slice of sunny French riviera, reminiscing coke-fuelled night outs in the Cote D’Azur in the 80s. Sounds familiar? Lucky you!
