On a mission to unveil a single a week until September, LOS LEO is a rare creative in an over-standardised industry. Pursuing authenticity and uniqueness, the Los Angeles resident chose to release his debut album ‘I Had a Dream Last Night’ exclusively on vinyl earlier this year. Now, digital services will be blessed with a track per week. In that regard, ‘Six’ is the second episode of such a mission, and if it’s anything to go by, the album is bound to be a really strong record.

The production is what really surprise us; the sound design work is clearly nuanced and meaningful, with ‘Six’ embracing a rather alternative pop direction, featuring cinematic, saturated drums that lift the chorus into heaven. LOS LEO’s vocals are evocative and intense, perfectly complementing the sonic settings they are crowned into.

Lyrically, we are in nostalgic and romantic territories, with ‘Six’ exploring themes of loss and grief. Stay tuned!
