On rotation: LED “Lies All Lies”

“Lies All Lies” sounds like the work of a band that’s been playing together for years. Tight, confident, and full of fire. But here’s the twist,  it’s actually the debut single from LED, a teenage indie pop-rock trio making their first big move. The band is made up of Layne Olivia, Lockett, and Edie Yvonne, who met at a film camp in Malibu last summer. They wrote this track for a short film, felt something click, and decided to officially become a band.

From the start, “Lies All Lies” delivers a punch of youthful rebellion. The gritty guitars, punchy drums, and bold vocals all hit with urgency. There are echoes of early Paramore, The Cranberries, or even No Doubt, but LED adds their own twist. The back-and-forth vocals between Layne and Edie keep things fresh and dynamic, while Lockett’s playing builds tension and drive that carries the whole song forward.

LED doesn’t try to do too much, and that’s what makes it work. Their chemistry feels real, and their love for making music together comes through in every second of the track. “Lies All Lies” is an explosive first step, packed with emotion, grit, and promise.

Turn it up loud. This is only the beginning for LED.
