INTERVIEW TO EDIE YVONNE

Hi Edie, welcome to AFX, please introduce your music.

Hi! Thank you for having me! I'm a 15 year old indie singer-songwriter from LA with a dream pop, teen pop vibe.

What’s your favourite part about being a songwriter? Is there a particular place where you feel most creative?

I write a lot at home, in my room on the guitar. I feel lucky to have a place to put my experiences and emotions.

Which songwriters do you admire and why? If you could collaborate with any artist in the world, who would you choose?

I love love Steve Lacy. That would be a dream. Amy Winehouse was an exceptional writer.

What's the best advice you've ever received about pursuing a career in music?

Trust your voice. Stay true to who you are. And to open all of the doors creatively, let go and not hold back.

Do you have any funny or interesting stories from being on the road as a musician that you can share with us?

Not yet. I just had my first live performance. It was a charity benefit at the Whisky A Go Go for Heart VIP.

What are your lifelong dreams?

To continue to have the ability and opportunity to write music and to share it with the world! To be able to be an artist and use the platform for activism.

Are you working on any new music or planning anything exciting that we can look forward to?

My new single Delusion came out on Valentines Day and want to release a GIRL CODE EP!
