If we had to declare what we love the most in Ethan Senger’s musical output, we’d say his nuanced, soothing yet intense vocals. ‘Standing Still’, the project’s latest single, is the perfect evidence of it. Channelling a specific ‘Room for Squares’ energy (for the John Mayer aficionados), the record is a poignant and comforting slice of human experience, declined through the sensible eyes of Senger’s relatable songwriting.
Emerging from Atlanta, the talented newcomer is gearing up for his sophomore EP, expected later this month. We’ll be looking out for it. If ‘Standing Still’ is anything to go by, we are in for a wonderful musical journey.
